We've been on the wrong side of some dark magic these days. Not only covid-19. On Sunday, April 7, there was a fire on the fourth floor of our building and the water that was used by the FDNY came hurtling down through our apartment. All at 3am. We've moved out of our place for the time being.
I think the eerie vibe of the piece is inspired by the arrival of covid-19. It's not exactly a happy ending but it seems to be one that looks optimistically forward, the virus incorporated into life, just another flu to be wary of...
