This is a track I originally completed as a cue for a feature film. Film work is challenging and not everything I write, no matter how much I like it, is accepted by a director. Part of the challenge is accepting that you will not always agree with a director or a music supervisor and the best way to proceed is to work to understand the director's vision and how you can execute that vision while retaining the integrity of your process. I liked "The Crucible" when I wrote it and I kept it for future use. It now appears, reworked and with new parts added, as February 2019's track of the month.
